The Author
Written For All
Parents, By A Parent Who Knows
Crystal Elliott, noted speaker and expert on adolescent drug use and abuse, is the
survivor of a 14-year habit that began long after she was sexually abused as a child.
Later, she suffered a severe ankle injury, which ultimately ended her intense training
to one day be a prima ballerina with the acclaimed Australian Ballet Company.
Elliott knows, first hand, what is involved in the tragedy of being
a teenager involved in drugs, then having that involvement develop
into a devastating addiction, and finally tackling the healing
process. It took an astute psychologist to unblock her abuse
memories, and the unconditional love of her parents to help her
leave addictive life.

She is a renewed woman and the mother of three beautiful children. Now fully
recovered, she shares her wealth of knowledge and in-depth research with
every parent, so they can be better equipped to prevent their children from
taking dangerous risks and walking down the paths she trod. Her insights are
for the entire family.

“Crystal Elliott has written a book parents and anyone working with youngsters should
read. Don’t wait until your child is on drugs before you get informed. Get informed
now! This book will open your eyes.”

Jane Covey, International
Lecturer on Family Relationships, Salt Lake City, U.S.A.
“This book contains detailed factual
information that will provide parents with an insight into the issues associated
with alcohol and other drug use by young people in western democracies. This is a
very useful resource for parents.”
-
Dennis Young, Executive
Director of Drug-Arm, Brisbane, Australia.
“While all parents must know that
their children, from age 5 on, will be exposed and, in fact, enticed to use drugs,
up until now there has been precious little help for them to circumvent the disaster.
Crystal Elliott has used her extensive personal experience as a long term addict,
now fully recovered. The result is a resource HELP manual that is a MUST READ for
ALL parents. STOP the problem before it begins.”
